Wide Swing Arm Kits for Twin Softails allows for use of wide
tire as noted with hardware provided. Installation requires
shop equipment and experience in assembly.
Kit includes the following:
Swing Arm with wheel axle, complete 12 mm primary offset kit, including pri-
mary spacer ring, crankshaft extension and extension nut, primary gasket kit,
extended transmission mainshaft and main drive gearing and extended primary
bolts. The trick caliper bracket enables the use of a stock rear caliper. Tabs for
the belt guard are welded in place. Due to the variety of wheels, fenders, fender
struts and wheel spacers, these are not included.

Wide-Tail" Swing Kit for 1991-99 Evo Softails. Kit enables
mounting of a wide tire in the stock frame. Due to the extra
width the stock fender and fender struts can no longer be
used, extra wide aftermarket fender and struts must be used.
Where applicable the original struts must be cut off and
replaced by bolt-on type fender strut. Also on some models it
may be needed to grind down the square bottom bar support
to clear the shock absorber eyes. Offers up to 11" (28 cm)
rear fenders in the fender section the the catalog.
